Plant witch Ivy is perfectly content with her isolated life; raising a farm of caneducks and ynvies, raising her 16 year old daughter Summer, and most importantly, not getting bothered by anyone.
That is, until Prince Merric shows up with a dragon egg, a request, and a smile that ruins all of Ivy’s plans.
Summer, already showing promising powers with handling animals, finds herself bonded to a baby dragon in a world that saw the last of them extinct. Ivy can’t let Summer go on this quest alone. And Merric just wants to save his people before they go extinct, themselves.
Despite Ivy’s best efforts, she finds herself drawn to the charismatic prince, and the tragedy of his own past.
A romantasy featuring older MCs and the magical creatures of Diabrahn, The Yearning Sky is currently finished in its first draft and awaiting further edits.
