Over a year after the events of Return to Bludeye Beach, Edie has built something of a new life for herself. It comes with a price, as tensions with her mother have never been higher, but Emily can’t seem to reconcile with the choices Edie has made. However, Edie’s attempts to reforge her maternal relationship are thwarted when Emily’s visit to Bludeye Beach keep being interrupted by a new supernatural menace – one that seems to be specifically targeting Edie’s friends and allies.
